Dim sum (‘male jedzonka’) – tradycyjne jedzenie Hong Kongu. Kilka tygodni temu wybralam sie z grupa znajomych do restauracji dim sum. Bylo nas siedmioro, zamowilismy wiecej jak 10 porcji (przynosza po trzy kawalki w koszyczkach). Kazdy dostal miseczke I filizanke na jasminowa herbate. Siedzielisny gawozac I co chwile siegajac po nowy dim sum. Michelle tlumaczyla co jest nadziane czym. Po pewnym czasie powiedziala, ze przyniesie cos specjalnego I super odjazdowego. Przyniosla stopy kurczaka! To podobno jeden z ulubionych dim sum miejscowych… Dim sum (‘small eats’) – traditional Hong Kong food. Few weeks ago I went with a group of friends to a dim sum restaurant. There were seven of us and we ordered more than 10 servings (one serving consists of 3 dim sums in one basket). Everyone received a bowl and a cup for jasmine tea. Michelle was explaining the fillings and at some point said that she would bring her favorite. She brought chicken feet! It is said to be the most delicious dim sum. Zupa migdalowa (biala) I zupa sezamowa(czarna). Jadam je przynajmniej raz w tygodniu. To taki desert. Dobre. Almond (white) and sesame (black) soup. I eat them at least once a week. It’s a kind of desert. It’s good. Suszone przysmaki, glownie mieso. Ludzie to czasem kupuja I jedza jak chipsy. Ale mnie to odstrasza. Niktore dzielnice miasta sa wypelnione straganami z tymi rzeczami I jak sie przechodzi to wszedzie czuc taki specjalny zapach Dried delicacies, mainly meat. People buy it from time to time and eat like crisps. It really scares me. Some districts of the city are filled with stalls with things like that. It all has a very specific smell. Ladies market. Tutaj wybralam sie kiedys z Monika – chciala sobie kupic torebke. Wszystko co tutaj sprzedaja to podruby – Dior, Dolce & Cabana, Rolex… itd. Jedna pani powiedziala, ze ma specjalna oferte I zaprowadzila nas na 18 pietro pewnego budynku, otworzyla drzwi a tam sklep wypelniony podrobkami wszystkich najdrozszych torebek. Ladies Market. I came here once with Monika – she wanted to buy a bag. Everything here is faked – Dior, Dolce & Cabana, Rolex… One woman said that had a special offer and brought us to 18th floor of one of the buildings around. The shop there was full of the most expensive bags – faked of course. W Hong Kongu jest tak duzo taksowek, ze czasem ulice wydaja sie byc postojami. Tutaj to jest ulica. Transport publiczny jest bardzo dobre I nie wiele osob ma samochod. In Hong Kong there are lots of taxis and sometimes streets look like taxi stands. This is a normal traffic. Public transport is very good and not many people have cars. A tutaj minibusiki. Jezdze takimi przynajmniej 10 razy w tygodniu. And here, mini buses. I travel by them at least 10 times a week. Takim promrm tez czasem plywam. Laczy wyspe-centum z ladawym Hong Kongiem. Zazwyczaj uzywam metro, bo jest szybciej. Ale ten stateczek to dla relaksu (zwlaszcza w nocy). Poza tym jest niesamowicie tani – okolo zlotowki w jedna strone na gornym pokladzie. I use this ferry from time to time. It connects the center-island with continental HK. It's faster to use subway. But this ship is great for relax (especially at night) besides it’s extremely cheap – around 20 UK pence, one way on upper deck.. Nathan Road Przechodze tedy czasami, zwlaszcza w nocy. To jedna z glownych ulic miasta. Mozna tutaj kupic duzo roznych rzeczy (zwlaszcza elektroniki) bardzo tanio. I pass this place from time to time, usually at night. This is one of the main streets of the city. It’s possible to buy here very cheaply lots of things (especially electronics).
